    In the construction of furniture, the glue and hardware that hold the individual panels together are only as good as the panels themselves.  That's why our furniture is built without using pressboard, flakeboard, soft woods, or any other cheap imitations.  What you see on the outside is not just a thin veneer hiding some unpleasant surprises; instead, the exterior reflects the standard of quality that applies even to the parts you don't see. 

    Drawer construction is one area that you don't want to see neglected.  Fully dovetailed drawer boxes keep the drawer corners from splitting or pulling apart.  Because wooden drawer slides are prone to warping, sticking, and breaking, we use two roller bearing slides per drawer.  This gives you a very smooth-sliding drawer and also allows you to choose full-extension slides, hidden undermount slides, and soft-close slides.  This combination of dove-tailed corners and dual slides creates a drawer that is strong enough to withstand the longterm effects of weight without being difficult to use.

    Lift one of our chairs and you'll know it's well-made.  Turn it over and you'll see why it won't leave you feeling like Goldilocks.  Each chair leg is glued, braced, and fastened with screws.  It's a three-fold way to keep your chairs from becoming creaky and wobbly.  You can sit down with the assurance that you won't be let down!

    You will find the same attention to construction details no matter what article of furniture you're in the market for.  And once each piece is carefully completed it is finished with several coats of high-durability catalyzed conversion varnish.  This modern varnish provides twice the resistance of laquer, creates a tough, scratch resistant finish, and frees you from worries about damage from water or common household chemicals.
